04/18/12 – Hi, my name is Deb D. and I would like to share my experience with Mesaba Heating. In the spring of 2009 I purchased a high efficiency, natural gas furnace and central air conditioning unit from Mesaba Heating. The heating unit replaced an older fuel oil furnace which was still operational but very inefficient. I contacted Bill Thurman at Mesaba Heating, as well as several other vendors, to discuss my options, pricing and follow up service. After discussion with all, I chose Mesaba Heating not only because they offered better pricing but also stressed their ongoing commitment to service. Well, I had the equipment installed which went very well. The savings I realized the first winter paid for the furnace—the second winter’s savings paid for the air conditioning unit. I am extremely happy with their recommended equipment both from the utility cost savings as well as the dependability. As for the ongoing service that was guaranteed at the time of service, this is somewhat difficult for me to attest to as the equipment has been very dependable and I have had no problems in three years. But, just this week I came home after several days of being out of town and my home was very cool. Once I realized I had a heating issue, I called Mesaba Heating very late in the evening. I was able to speak to someone immediately and Bill Thurman was at my home within an hour. Luckily the issue was not with the furnace but with the thermostat. He immediately replaced it and my heating system was up and running within minutes of his arrival. Now there is a service call that can not be surpassed!! I would strongly recommend Mesaba Heating not only for the purchase of equipment but for their commitment to service – they have done exactly what they said they would do; they saved me a bundle on utility costs and they have provided the service they guaranteed they would.

12/22/11 – A testimonial to Bill Thurman at Mesaba Heating and his staff: Approximately one year ago I had a need to install a new natural gas operated boiler in my home. The previous heating system was over 30 years old and gave in to its age. For its time, it was a good system. Bill came to my home and discussed options and alternatives with me. I selected as a replacement a moderately priced, high efficiency model to be installed. Bill advised me that I would see a reduction in monthly heating costs because of the efficiency of the new boiler. Bill and his staff did a very professional and timely installation of the new boiler. I couldn’t have been more pleased. By the way, Bill was VERY correct about the reduction of heating cost. I pay by the monthly budget system, which is easier for me to manage. My costs for heating for the last few years, prior to the installation of the new system, were as high as $160.00 per month (year round budget plan). Since the installation of the new high efficiency boiler my monthly costs for heating have dropped below for $70.00. Dramatic savings for me. Thanks Bill and Mesaba Heating Staff!!!
